Brand Positioning, Naming, Identity, Packaging Design.
Raisthorpe Manor approached me to design their new gin liqueur, infused with locally sourced berries. They expressed a desire to maintain the iconic "R" as the central element of the design providing me with an opportunity to blend their established identity with the essence of their latest creation.
The concept revolved around the idea of creating a sub-brand 'WILDR', a name that echoed the untamed essence of the Yorkshire Wolds. With 'WILDR' I aimed to capture a spirit that was inherently wild, radically different and infinitely curious. This sub-brand represented a departure from the ordinary, embracing the unconventional whilst keeping the iconic "R" as the seamless part of the design. Though not chosen for production, 'WILDR' serves as a testament to my innovative approach in pushing design boundaries to craft a distinct brand identity.
